Our Vision
The mission of THE CHENE COMMUNITY CITIZENS COUNCIL (CDC) COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT CORPORATION is formed for charitable purposes within the meaning of Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code.
Specifically, we focus on the rehabilitation of homes, building of affordable housing, providing educational programs, economic development, and community services for the surrounding underprivileged community in the Chene St. corridor.
More than buildings
We will be the model for our city as there is more to building than the buildings. We are rebuilding lives, refilling empty lots with new families and old friends. Removing the blight to uncover the beauty of our streets, communities and the people within.
